Hi, I'm Stephanie Paradis! I'm glad you are here. 

In 2015, I started an online blog named "Road to Paradise". The name was a witty, egocentric play on my last name. The blog was simply an outlet to express, digest, question and discern who I was and what I was working through. 

Part of my story includes being a child of divorce, having experience with emotional trauma and abuse, fighting against co-dependency and navigating family-estrangement. Inevitably "Road to Paradise" became a polished journal for those that cared to read it. 

It has since evolved, alongside me, to become a more altruistic vehicle to connect with and understand others' stories and life journeys. 

In this next chapter, I have decided to archive my own personal blog entries, as my plan is to share more stories from the people I meet and connect with. Occasionally you may see a piece published from my personal backlog, but if there is anything I have learned in my own healing journey, it's that hearing the stories of other's can heal the very pieces of our own story that we once thought would never be understood. 

My mission is to help others heal the parts of themselves that need mending, and to give permission to others to be human and honest about their stories. 

By sharing my story boldly, compassionately, and with consideration for others, I hope to inspire the cycle breakers of the world to stand-up.
